Fast Fashion causes major pollution worldwide - water pollution, air pollution, over consumption of water and material waste. ‘FSTFSHN’ is a collection of high-street advertisements and an accompanying social media campaign which highlights the environmental issues of buying from fast fashion brands.
The ‘FSTFSHN’ campaign highlights the environmental consequences of buying clothing from fast fashion brands such as: Asos, H&M, Boohoo and Zara. The hard hitting consequences of fast fashion are highlighted, using the images of fast fashion pollution as the focal point through the campaign designs.
Through an online campaign of Facebook and Instagram adverts and posts, to chnage the buying habits of the fashion minded Gen-Z and Millennial’s, combined with a high-street takeover of London - using the the city’s shopping hotspots to post up billboards and banners in places of mass viewing opportunities to show the consequences of fast fashion. The online campaign will also promote the ‘FSTFSHN’ website which provides better alternative brands and continues the narrative of bashing the fast fashion brands through hard hitting facts and figures on their environmental damage.
